What was the name again ??

Hello, My name is Mohamed Nofal, Today I woke up and decided that writing about solving boxes on proving grounds is fun. So today we will start easy with an easy box called "Twiggy.” .

Before we start, I would like to take a minute of your time and show you some cool stuff in my zshellrc file. You can access that file via this command if you have zshell installed.

sudo nano ~/.zshrc

If you have bash installed, you may access the same file, but for bash, use this command

sudo nano ~/.bashrc

and those are the file that are responsible for the configuration of those shells (in a nutshell)

it should look like this for you if you have zshell (zsh)

now lets move on to the cool part

You can actually create cool acreynoms for your commands (the very, very long ones), although it will decrease the hacker aura you have. But its going to save you a ton of time, plus you can virtually create anything.

Let's start, shall we ?

Creating an environment

so every hacker has to be organized (in my opinion, at least). So we have to take notes as we go through solving the box or in a real penetration test. My note-keeping app of choice is Notion, Its a really powerful tool.

then we create on our host a directory for our box

or we can use the custom function we created to create our whole environment
